FINAL IN LALA LAND.. WIN GOES TO THE DBACKS

Final outta Lala Land.. Dbacks pull out a win in 10 innings over the Dodgers. The playoff race gets tighter with the Dodger loss. The Giants and Rockies are now 5 1/2 games back of the NL West.

Growing up as an 80's kid, I remember hot summer days and playing outside with the kids on my block. I loved watching sports and playing sports. We didn't have a field to play baseball on so we played in the street. We had one aluminum bat and one tennis ball that we used as as a baseball. Our games always ran late into the evening until we could barely see the ball, or we'd get called home by the parents.

I first became a Giants fan sometime during the 1990 season. Watching the game with my cousin, I told him that Will Clark was gonna hit it out. He didn't believe me but after a couple of pitches, he hit it out to the bleachers.

From that moment on I was hooked.
